03 WRX Stoptech Big Brake Kit on S14??

I know someone selling a big brake kit off a 02 WRX wagon and was wondering if it is a direct bolt up to the front calipers mounts on my 1997 240. I currently have 300zx 30mm caliper with stainless steel lines. I know a few people run the STI calipers so that is what leads me to believe these may work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not sure about the caliper mounting, but I can tell you that an 02' wrx bolt pattern is 5x100 not 5x114.3. The newer(04' and up i believe) sti's have a 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

That in itself would keep me from "trying it" due to the cost of stoptech rotors and hats.

Stoptech designs their calipers and rotors to work with the stock master cylinder size and to improve the brake balance.

WRX is not equal to S14.

I would leave it alone.

that and you need an adapter to mount the calipers. which is another 180 bucks on top of that.

whats the difference ? still 8 pistons in the front stopping you. just not gold with as red brembo sticker. if you need more braking power, upgrade your rears to a 2 piston setup then you have a 12 piston braking system
