allright, here's my question...
Last time I bought some side skirts for my s13 was a about 3 years ago. I bought some AIT ones and the fitment wasnt bad at all... now the old ones are gone and I just purchased some Riceoneusa ones and the fit and finish is just absolutely HIDEOUS. The skirts are super thick (maybe around 1/2" thick), and dont fit around the door area at all.

So my question was, are these just a bad set or is this the "quality' Riceonusa has??

Quick question.

What are the longterm effects of a bolt missing out of your turbo manifold..

Like, loss of compression in one cylinder maybe? (Or would that just be intake manifold?) perhaps late spool, loss of power?

^ I still did change out oil every 3K miles...even tho my mechanic said you don't need to for 7K of regular driving with Synthetic. Now that my car is a track car, I pretty much change out my oil every 2 to 3 months with 2 weekends of drifting per month...w/ synthetic. (Over kill? probably)

put breather filter on valve cover tee, plugged port on intake. car lost some vacuum and idled like shit. took filter off, put hose back on, ran fine. do you have to adjust iacv when you run a breather filter?

k guys, i got an s14 t28 bb and im guessing my wastage went out. it wont boost over 5 psi but i disconnected the vacuum line making sure i did my pulls in 3rd gear to control boost. the result is 8psi+ and it keeps going. i didnt hit over 9psi cause i dont want to blow my motor so wastage with vacuum=5 psi
wastage without vacuum line = 8ps+
does that mean its a bad wastage? im pretty sure it is.

Skip that whole setup. I hate valve cover breather filters. See it too often with the Honda fanboys. Instead, run a hose from the valve cover to a catch can, and from the catch can to the intake.

guessing this will be quick question since this is a common problem with 240s

u know when u turn the key and it doesnt start but makes that clicking noise but eventually does start and it isnt the starter doing it? what is it. i have heard maybe ignition switch or not getting a good connection from the pigtail hanging out of the ignition.

Probably not the ignition switch or the clutch interlock relay.. my guess would be the starter solenoid. Have someone whack the starter repeatedly as you try to turn the motor over. If that solves the problem, its the starter solenoid.

I bought the Greddy Baffled Oil Pan for my sr20det RedTop, but it did not include the hardware for installation, the baffles are already installed. What bolts do I need to buy to install this pan? I'm not sure if any of the factory ones will work since the clamping area is thicker than the stock metal pan. Plus there are the four bolts that definitely need to be longer since they go through the middle of the pan. Thanks for the help!
