Formula DRIFT Enters Evergreen Speedway

Evergreen Speedway is the oldest track on the circuit and was originally built as a horse-racing track. Located in Monroe, WA, Evergreen Speedway, is only a short distance from Seattle.

The Northwest fans are some of the most die-hard drift fans in the nation. The energy and excitement is often compared to that of Irwindale and the original “House of Drift.” The event’s headline moniker, “Throwdown,” lives up to it’s name as drivers push their vehicles to the limits of the track’s banking and tight transitions through the course resulting in one of the most exciting action-packed events of the season.

Friday, July 22, 2011 – Preview Day

12:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Gates Open to the Public – Venue
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm – FD: Open Practice (#1) – Track
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm – FD: Open Practice (#2) – Track
3:00 pm – 5:30 pm – FD: Qualifying – All Drivers, reverse ranking order – Track
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Pro/Am: Qualifying – Track
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm – FD: Autograph Signing – Top 32 – TBA
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm – FD: Open Practice – Top 32 – Track

Saturday, July 23, 2011 – Main Event

12:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Gates Open to the Public – Venue
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm – Pro/Am: Top 8 Competition – Track
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – FD: Main Competition– Round of 32 – Track
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – "Half Time" Break – Main Paddock
6:00 pm – 6:30 pm – National Anthem / Opening Ceremonies – Track
6:30 pm – FD: Main Competition – Round of 16 to Finals – Track
8:30 pm – 9:00 pm – FD: Trophy Ceremony & Closing – Main Paddock

Im headin up Saturday morning! Is it worth it to buy my tickets online ahead of time? Or should I just buy at the gate?

So... I went to this Nascar racing at Evergreen yesterday...
It was not as good as last year I think.. and also I don't see why people have different cars ?
why not just build Corvettes? 98% of cars were LS powered....

I am sure it was already covered in other thread but... this drifting scene in U.S sure got "U.S style" miss old days...

BTW... that Ross Petty's match with Aasbo guy was totally unfair...

Aasbo spun out and won... how is that even possible..???

According to the judges, Petty went off track when before entering the power alley.

I understand he went off 3 tires.. but Assbo spun out !! what is worst than spinning out?????

Judge also mentioned if there was concrete wall not just yellow line, Ross would have crashed.. ofcourse he would have,, but there was no concrete wall...

Did you all not see most of competitors go off track all the time? they would have crashed their cars as well..

I'd say spin out should been fail and lost.

It was exciting to watch, ya didn't agree with judges and didn't like all the V8's but o well, it's better then no event.

I'm gonna start savin to go to Japan, I wanna see a D1GP event..
