Here is the alt wiring for anyone who wants to know how to wire it up on a s13. This is with the oval aristo plug. Red with blue stripe goes to a switched 12v, white goes to your factory white alt wire which is your 12v, and yellow goes to your white with red stripe factory alt wire, its for your charge light. Hope that helps some people

Alternator wiring

Would that alternator wiring work for a 2jzge ? I'm asking because the colors on my alternator plug are different. Thanks in advance.

I'll have to go back and check mine be sure I have it wired correctly. It charges fine but I think I just wired the red/blue and white together to a switched 12v

Does anyone have pics of a GTE swapped S13 with a 4" Downpipe?

It would depend on your turbo manifold positioning.

With this engine setup we are using a custom fabricated 4" Downpipe
That is a side exit behind the Passenger Front Wheel.

The install is using our Zerolift Mount Kit
Zerolift 3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft
and Zerolift Prototype Engine Mounts (Soon to be released)

I can provide more photos on request.

curious to know this too. I already bought their mounts but they will be sitting for a couple months until I'm ready. Shipping was quick and good customer service though

Pretty much any standard Supra manifold will work. Turbo is up to you. If you're worried about fitment issues, its really no different then any fitment issues people have run into on Supras. Once you go so big on a turbo you'll need to look at custom options anyways. I'd suggest spending lots of reading time over on supraforums researching your power goals and what people have used.

I just installed the xcessive mounts and the only issue I ran into was on the passenger side getting the engine mount to clear the oil drain pipe hose to the oil pan. Besides that they seem to fit fine

any pics of this? How did you solve this? Are you running single or twin turbos?

I bet he is on twins. I am mocking the mounts up right now and see no issues if going single.

Yes unfortunately on stock twins, also the passenger side has two mounting options ill have pics up soon I hope. Instead of mounting the new mount where the original was you mount it more forward like in the image. All I did for extra assurance was get a longer hose to go to the oil pan and slightly bend the turbo drain tube back towards the flywheel slightly.

-the two bolt holes to the left are where the stock engine mounts would be.
Also to put the drivers side mount on its 10 times easier to remove the oil filter assembly

Now I'm just debating on if I want to go with poly engine and trans mounts or not but if you can just go single these stock twins suck to work around.

That picture they used on their site is wrong.

The mounts are designed to fit on either side of the block and should always angle towards the rear. In that pic for some reason it angles toward the front.

We have this kit installed in the S13 pictured above ^^^
2JZGTE VVTI with 42R Borgwarner Equivalent, Nitrous, Turbo400 with trans Brake.
Cars best run so far is a 9.622 1/4 mile.
We are also testing our prototype motor mounts in this same car.
With numerous sub 10 second passes with 1.4-1.5 sec 60ft times
The mounts are still 100% good to go.

Those mounts look nice, but $350......holy hole in a doughnut Batman! Makes me sad your RB mounts look to require more steel and manufacturing process to produce and cost $100 less at the $250 price point. I'm not saying your products may or may not be worth the price, but my point I guess is the JZ swap is becoming more popular and supported, and the Xcessive mounts at their price point are very appealing in comparison. Personally if you had them at the same rate of $250, I'd consider them more because

A: They're more price comparable to the Xcessive mounts, and you could argue the claim to more structural bracing and steel used in your design for the extra $50

B: I wouldn't feel like I'm paying the JZ ricer tax mark up of an extra $100 over your own RB mounts that consist or more parts/steel/welding/processing over the JZ mounts.

Take this for what it's worth, I'm just a consumer trying to give feedback on products I'm shopping around for.

In my opinion I've manaed to do my swap cheaper than a few people I've seen but as of right now I've got around 8K sunk into my swap.
But I bought timing belt clutch flywheel etc. so it can be done for cheaper depending on how you spend your money.
-also going sinlge off bat is such a good idea I can't stress how much of a PITA twins have been for me to work around

I have right about 5k in my 2j in s13 swap. But that's a bone stock motor, spec stage 3 clutch, new timing belt, tensioner, idler, front and rear main seal, water pump, 3" down pipe, pulleys, custom driveshaft made locally, gauges, and did wiring and swap myself. So it can be done for under 10k like alot of people say it costs.

Cost will depend on how you want your build to go and whether or not your a DIY-er.

I can tell you first hand that working on a 2j project is a whole different ball game compared to my 3 SR builds. If your looking for a rather stock car with a few nice goodies then about $10k is the average cost.

If your looking to spend cash on a awesome standalone (ProEfi, Haltech, etc), looking to make some serious power (rethink trans, clutch, Diff, Axles, Tires, Rims, Fuel, Turbo, Exhaust components....yada yada yada), your looking at easily over $15k and thats if you do a lot of stuff yourself.

My buddy did a total cost review for his 800hp setup and he is at about $32k with paint and all of the goodies. Then again he did about 2/3 of the work himself but in general it costs to play with a 2j when compared to the SR.

And PS...my personal opinion, if your looking at the 6266 turbo just go to the 6766 with an 81+ A/R. You will be much happier in the end and have room to move into the 700+hp range if you decide to up your power goals. Full boost by about 4300-4600 RPM depending on your setup and the powerband stays till about 7200 RPM. Real fun setup to drive on the streets.
