Thanks! We sprayed on a friday, started cutting and buffing on sunday (doors), and the car started on monday.

Cut it with 1000, 1500, 2000, and then 6000 (6000 was done on a DA sander), then used 3M Perfect it stage 1, 2, then 3 buffing compound.

If you're talking about the USDM replica lip sold from the guy in Canada.....do not buy it. That place is a joke and the parts are so shitty. I bought one back in '09 and it came broken in 3 pieces. Finally got a new one after having to pay half price for it, and it fit like shit.

Xoxide your kouki is going to look so nice man!!!! I have an original starfire kouki but unfortunately it has been down for the past 2 years with a blown motor.

Here is a pic of mine in its day of glory. This is back when I was living in florida. I moved to houston about 4 years ago now.



Here is how she sits now. Started machining my block this week so hopefully Ill have it back on the road sometime this winter. Wish it was still all one color like it used to be, but maybe one day!!!!





Itd be cool to do a photoshoot with 3 starfire blue koukis. Maybe mine will get finished soon and ill come back to florida and visit my folks.

Man, what a rough night. My alternator belt has been squealing since I got the RB running. Tonite, I decided to gun it and chase a corvette. Needless to say, my car decided it hated the belt and spat it out. Thank freaking god I wasnt that far away from my house. Cruised the car to the movies, enjoyed watching "Flight" (one of the best movie this year) came out, car is cold, drove that shit straight home on battery with no water pump turning.
