Well thanks for all the help you guys on helping me out with trying to make up my mind what kind of car to get.. I finally made up my mind on what to get.
A 97 or a 98 240SX TT Navy Mettallic Blue with Silver... and a targa top with an S14b bodykit...

Wait..what the ####?

TT as in "twin-turbo"? Targa top? 240SX's don't even HAVE those options. Good luck finding one with 'em. x_X

I don't think that BF of her's is doin his job <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
No 240's in the US came with a turbo and as far as the roof they were either sunroof/moonroof or a solid roof.
You could put a twin sequential turbo system (small turbo spools up first then big turbo takes over reducing turbo lag) on the 240 engine but it still wouldn't be considered TT. As for the roof you could have it cut but it would be $$$ and your car would lose a lot of its rigidness. I say just get a 300zxTT with T-tops they are sweet and really fast, but 240s are a lot lighter and a much more comfortable ride.

i thought only the mk4 had the targa top, but it was a single turbo(i may be confused with the &quot;mk' reference, im refering to the before94 model) &nbsp; the 300zx were t tops before 90 and t top/ targo tt 90-96, not 100% though

Twin-turbo = pain in the ass and not worth the trouble.

Targa Top = Uh...good luck. o_O

If you wanted a twin-turbo car with a targa top, get yourself a Supra or a 300ZX. It's a #### of a lot cheaper than trying to get that done to a 240SX.

i'm sorry but that is just absolutely absurd, i usually try not to say anything about people's personal preferences, but a 240 with a dual stage turbo and a targa roof? seriously think about what you're trying to do, the car will be in the shop more than you'll be driving it, a decent 97-98 S14 will cost you at least 12 grand, an SR20DET will cost you what, 7 grand installed? then buying another turbo is another thousand or two i'd say, and a targa roof? another 1500 maybe? you're into the car for over 20 grand then, you could get a Z32TT for way less than that, i'm going to have to say that a 240TT targa is not an intelligent decision

I say get the 240, swap in the sr20det, and go ahead and chop the top, Your car will be totally unique and if you loose much ridgedness install a cage in the back.

If you &quot;did&quot; actually install a tagra top aftermarket, it would be a death trap in an accident.

The only way i know of to put TT in a 240 is to get a 300zx or rb26dett engine, both are tt, but both are super heavy and are a pain to put in a 240, im considering a rb26 but im not sure yet

Why can't you change your mind? Just do some research for the next couple weeks and test drive some cars till you find what you want. Make sure you like it totally stock incase you run out of money and can't mod it...

#### THIS GIRL IS &lt;h1&gt;WACKED!!!!&lt;/h1&gt;

listen chicky, you got your stuff all wrong, i know for a fact that you have a 300ZX and a 240SX ALL MESSED UP...
if you twin turbo a 240SX you should go to a shrink, why would you degrade?
a single turbo spools up twice as fast as 2,...
and if you want to targa it, the have fun payin 4 g's,
my good friends dad does all types of roofs, and with somethin like that you would need the whole car to be reinforced, or the thing would just crumple in the wind...lol
and your gonna be dishin out some cash for the color you want...

If your right and really bent on this project, get ready to dish out atleast 12 g's for the job if not more...

I'm sorry, but Luv, you sound like you have &quot;more dollars than sense&quot; as my mamma used to say. &nbsp;You sound like you know *very* little about cars. &nbsp;If thats the case, why are you making all these demands on your future car criterias?? &nbsp;Just start off with something nice and cheap so you know basics like how to drive, and park, and fill the gas, and did I mention how to drive?? &nbsp;Then after all that , go out and buy some inexpensive mods like an exhaust and intake. &nbsp;You're a fool to run out and get an S14b then chop the top and bolt on a new engine. &nbsp;Have you no idea what these mods will do to the driveabiltiy of the car? &nbsp;Its not like swapping clothes on a Barbie doll or something.

Sorry folks, but poseurs just plain bug me...
JZ
PS. Flame away... &nbsp;

I personally think those posts were a joke. No one in their right mind would seriously consider doing all that. I can stand it when people ask if they can fit a V8 into a 240SX, but this takes the cake in the &quot;I PEROSNALLY THINK THIS IZ KEWL AND I DONT CARE IF IT DON'T WERK I WILL MAKE IT WERK HURHURHURHUR&quot; department.

Excuse me, I'm very opinionated right now. =)
