KA 240sx dumping fuel out exhaust

hi I'm kind of new to forums so I hope I'm doing it right. I am having problem with a 1989 s13 240sx I bought I while ago. I've been trying to get it running right but cant seem to find the problem. when I try to start it it take a minute to start then when it start it just dumps gas out the exhaust and then it back fires and since it barley has any exhaust on it it start a fire under the car. I have tried putting a set of new injectors on and that did nothing so I try a new fuel rail and presser regulator but still nothing I've even check the return line to see if it was pluged, but it still wants to burn to the ground. I don't know if it matters but it has a brand new fuel pump in it to, but at this point I'm at a loss. I'm no mechanic by any means I'm just trying to lean while working on the car. any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like your timing is off. I'd also recommend putting an exhaust on it so you don't harm yourself, others, or the vehicle.

I plan on puting exhaust on it but dont have any spare pipe laying around. im trying to hold off buyin pipe untill the motor atleast starts and idles. Im working on it in a open shop with concrete floors and i keep a fire extinguisher right next to me after the first time
