.. buy a front clip red top with ~85,000 miles on it? it is from a reputable company...they said $2,350 for it... is that too much? i began to think abuot it, but if the car was in good condition then i dont see why not... the reason i dont want to say the name is because i dont want someone going and buying it from under me... but please give me your thoughts!

Jeff, 85K miles or 85K Kilometers?

And, for 85K miles, I would want to see it at abvout 1500 to 1700 myself...could be hard miles..no matter the shape.

If Kilometers, 2 grand would be a good deal.

I figure they got less than 1500 in it really, depending on milage..if 85K MILES, they probably have less than 1100 in it.

Everyone wants to double their money.

yea they told me miles... but im gonna call them tomorrow and assure myself..
but most clips are going for 3grand for good condition ones...

It was not long ago a skyline RB25 clip was around 1500.

I definitly am not against the folks make 500 bucks to 800 bucks on the clips...they must stay in business.

I see clips on the web for 2500 @ 35K miles all the time...then their is shipping to contend with (400 to 600 for my area usually from west coast). I am waiting to see what pops up for 2200 for a nice SR one day.

so you think i should try and find a lower mileage one? or at least get it cheaper? your right i guess... i will see what pops up around my area... but the reason i am asking is because i could go pick it up and not worry about shipping... and i know more people than bill have insight on this.. btw thanx Bill
