i used to work for Mitsubishi, i think the dark red as pictured is actually called Ultra Red Pearl, the patriot is just a regular bright red. the ultra is available on the new eclipses as well.

Nope. That's what I thought when I bought the car too. The other red was called Sorano Red or something like that. You would think the reg. red would be the Patriot color, but it's opposite.
