Deftforce LSD:

Deftforce fulfills the three necessary conditions for drifting competition - ultra locking performance, controllability, and durability." -quote from ATS

1) Super powerful differential lock and controllability to support high speed drifting
2) Power and toughness resulting from the world's largest-diameter non-grinding clutch plate
3) Five times the durability of conventional models
4) Specifications optimized based on technical feedback from D1 Grand Prix drivers
5) Type S for street / city driving, and Type R for racing and competition

**The Deftforce bolts directly into USDM open diff. case.
**Comes with 2 liters of ATS LSD Oil (85-90) and bearing.
**Deftforce comes standard in 2.0 configuration but can be ordered in 1.5 way for those that want the Deftforce strength but not the decel locking characteristics of a 2.0 way differential.

1) what type of gear oil they use? synth ?
2) i need one to fit USDM open diff pumpkin, it has to be either 1.5way or helical.
3) any other info that i cant find on the site. thanks!

1.) they use ATS LSD Oil 85-90w
2.) the Deftforce fits open diff. US case

3.) I have a Deftforce 1.5 way IN STOCK!(normally special order from Japan, ATS USA doesnt even stock em!)

If you already have the ATS Metal LSD:

-Rebuild for the Standard 12 plate (metal LSD) IS $285 Shipped in US48. This includes 12 new plates and springs.

-Conversion Kit for Standard Metal 12 plate to Deftforce is $410 Shipped in US48. This includes ONLY 4 Plates all new gears, springs, and 2 cam rings. If you wanted to rebuild yours while converting to a deftforce you would have to also purchase the Standard 12 plate kit to make it a total of 16 plates. This is essentially replacing everything in your pumpkin and could be quite expensive if you went this route...

...However if all you wanted to do was rebuild your ATS Standard Metal LSD it would only cost you $285.

Just installed and broke in my ATS Carbon LSD last night and WOW!!!!! This thing is sooooo quiet. Even when we first pulled it off the trailor it barely clunked at all and it locks like a clutch type should only not as abrupt.. I love it... cant wait to put it to good use this Sunday @ Civil War!!
