Cant figure out which year of 240sx I want.  I am thinking about 97/98...But then I went to this guy's website http://www.clearcorners.com/240sx/images/ and I was like "HOLY FUCK" that shit is fucking sweet.  It'd be even sweeter if it was manual and had those flat lights (like the ones on Vin Diesels rx-7 in the fast and the furious, forgot what they're called).  Only thing that I dont like about this year of car is that it is SOHC.  But on the plus side they are dirt cheap and Vielside makes some really cool bodykits for em.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO !!!  What do you guys think I should do?

GRAR! THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE!

watch out, i am wielding the mighty caps-lock button <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

The S13's come in DOHC, starting in 1991. And they do make those sleek lights but I think the silvia conversion looks cleaner. I would go for the s13 for costs (expecially if you want to do a engine swap), it looks good and you would have more money for upgrading it. It's up to u to decide though.

Umm... 89-90 was SOHC with flip-up headlights. 97-98 is the dope body style with non-flip headlights and dohc.

You sure you got the right info?

I was saying if that guy had those lights like on Vin Diesels RX-7 it would be cooler. &nbsp;I THINK that there is a front light conversion for flip-up light 240sx's. &nbsp;I know they make them for RX-7's and MR2's.

Here is an rx-7 that has them lights: &nbsp;http://www.turbomagazine.com/archives/features/0901_features01.jsp

Here is a mr2 with the lights: (but you cant zoom in on em) &nbsp;http://www.importtuner.com/archives/features/0701_features01.jsp

The RX-7 one doesnt bring much justice, the lights I'd want on a older flip-up light 240sx (i dont know the years of the other 240sx I want, but i think it is the 91') is the lights on that mr2, but you cant see them that well.

Anyways, I am rambling...

Veilside used to make the flush mount headlight conversion for the '89-'93 240s, but I don't think they do it anymore. &nbsp;I don't remember where I saw it, but another company had them...and they were like $1200!:o...you can probably have it done custom for cheaper than that.

$1200 no wonder they stopped making them ####, thats outrageous. I figured they would'nt be more than $500, suddenly making your own sounds like a good idea.

I figure I'll just keep the pop-ups...the longer I have it, the better the pop-ups just seem to fit the car better than the flush mounts would.

Your right the flush mounted one's look to out of place on a 240sx The headlight area is shaped to much like a box, it makes em look ackward.

Well I have no clue..but..Wouldnt popup lights slow you down at night if you have em out? &nbsp; They dont look too aerodynamic <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

We talked about this once, and someone actually made me love and use my pop-ups in a totally different way:

YOU CAN BLINK AT PEOPLE!!!

So, I just got the clear halogen conversion instead. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Whatever it's called.
La, la, la, la, la, la!

Too bad both my lights pop up. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> But I kinda like them now.

To each his own, right?
