GP sports......

I wondering if anyone has any reviews on the G-Master coilover line. I have been searching these forums, and was unsuccessful in finding anything out.

Only info I have found was on the website. I only found 3 threads here and 2 were in the "commercial" sale threads.

Any reviews or related topics of any use are appreciated.

To be more specific I have an s13 if that matters as far reviews, etc.

Isn't it ironic. I just finished installing a set of G Master Pros on a friend's S13. They are superb coilovers. They aren't for the faint of heart though. The spring rates are 10k/8k and the dampening is pretty harsh. But if you are looking for a set of hi-per coilovers for drifting they would be a good choice.

We're going out tonight to get some runs in as we both need to dial in our suspension and I'll let you know how they handle when put to the test.

Oh and isn't DG5 Kei Office's new name? They have DG5 logos on them...

Wow, thanks for such quick replies. How much different are the pro's to the regular line?

You said they were 10k/8k, As to the non pro's are 8k/6k.
What are the pro's selling for and who is carrying them?

I will be awaiting your reviews, They seem to have good numbers and are they dd tollerable? How is the ride height on these?

Thx. again.

If i remember right, the pros and regulars sell for the same price. You just have to specify which spring rate you want when you buy it. Ask Josh from AutoRND, hes prolly the guy who popped up when you did the search on these coilovers. Last time they had these on sale, i believe they were going for $1600 ballpark.

I have to say I'm a little pissed now. lol. I took my friends S13 for a few runs and it handled amazingly. The reason I'm pissed is because my R32 has about every footwork part you can possibly buy and his S13 has sway bars and now G Master Pros and it completely outhandles mine.

I've driven S13s with JICs, Kei's, Zeal, Tanabe, Cusco, Racing Gear, etc.. ,etc.. blah blah... and the GMasters are on top of the list as far as drifting goes. I'm not sure I would want them on a daily driver though.

What are you gp-sports owners planning to do when they need servicing? Gr6 or g-masters are on my list for another set of coilovers but the issue of servicing them is holding me back. Can you go through Autornd since theyre a dealer?

I know GP Sports will rebuild them here so if it came down to it you could ship them to Japan.

The regular G Masters are fine for daily driving... well as fine as a set of "performance" coilovers is going to be.

Hmmm... the old G Masters looked alot like Kei Office except with black springs... lol.
