I agree it needs to be renamed but I don't think we should rename it any of those names lol.

Kouki unite just bites the Zenki thread
Kouki Brothers is sorta lame
Those last and few Kouki's is too long and lame.

Not hating btw, just think we should name it something decent.

I'd prefer something short and at least mildly clever...

I need input,hopefully im getting some 19's tenzo dc5 in 19x8 and 19x11.5, will a roll and pull be really needed for the stock rear metal?

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I was hoping to have some updates tonight, but there were a few hang ups and WTF moments that occurred. Hopefully the exhaust will be done by Thursday. Then hopefully I can go over the car with a fine toothed comb so everything can be triple checked, then it will be a matter of dealing with the interior/interior wiring/battery box, tuning it, getting the wheel fitment functional, and painting it.

I am hoping the car is at least mechanically sound/tuned by the 30th of October, I ideally want it running fine and what not before the 23/24th so I can paint it that weekend.

The next local drift event is sometime in mid November, so that should give me some time to amass some more tires and get all of the kinks worked out.

im still undecided on those 19s i mentioned(their such a great deal thats why im thinking of getting them)

I looked on Tenzo's website and I don't even see 19s offered for that wheel. I can say from having fit 19s on a S15 that getting them to look right on a S-chassis takes a lot of work, and you'll have some rubbing issues if you are tucking wheel - which is basically what is needed for them to work, haha.

I think a 19/19 or 18/19 set up can be pulled off with SUPER aggressive aero, but stock body, mild/OEM aero should stick with 17/17, 17/18, or 18/18 IMO.

Sounds good man. Make sure someone takes a video at that event! Btw, how hard of a process was widening your wheels? Expensive? Long wait? Worth it overall? I'm still weighing my options at the moment for wheels....

My only suggestion for a thread name would be 'Kouki Class' because Kouki's are just so damn classy. You could also make it lame and ever so slightly clever by calling it 'Kouki-ng Class' or something along those lines. Any name change would be appreciated though...

95ka-yes i know,19's are gonna be hard to tuck and make them sit nicely,they are offered as where i searched,i know their somewhere there,or at least so thats what they look like in the picture the guy sent me

This would take a lot of work (and it still isn't even that low) and to be that low up front your wheels either have to be 18" or sunk as hell.

dummy ichigawa are those SSR/meister's 17's? I've always thought the JDM kouki bumper wasn't low enough for 18's(which is why i have a lip) but yours seems right
