On my hatch, an 18x10 +30 with a 285/30/18 and a good amount of pull at at the ride height I chose, I had a good amount of contact between the tire and the inside part of the fender on the seam welds. Adding 3mm spacers helped a little and I still need an alignment but I'm either going to have to "adjust" the inner fender on the inside or raise it up a little. Next time I will go with a 275/35/18 as the 285 has enough of bulge on an 18x10 and the wheel lip never contacts the inside just the bulged tires.

Actually yes, I'm making about 460-whp on 350Z 17" wheels running 225/45/17 in front & 245/40/17 rear and when boost hits in 5th gear, it's pretty much allover the place :-). never mind 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th..I'm running 650-cc injectors, turbonetics 62-1 turbo, boost cut, safc-II, 3" turbo-back straight thru exhaust @ 22/23-lbs, I don't wanna go to 265's and have to do this allover again cause i'd like to turn the boost up a couple of more pounds when I go dyno for the last time :-) ..Thanks for your help guys, the car is not very photogenic at this time but, i'll post a couple of pictures soon!

stock body s13. fenders rolled but I can get them pulled slightly if need be, with megan coils/ruca 17x9.5 +25 front and 17x9.5 +30 rear 255/40 squared setup. Without running a shit ton of - camber( -2.5 front, -2 rear) give or take. I seen a few post up where the 2 tone coupe is running 17x9 +25 in the front with a 255/40 w/ -3 camber under the stock fenders. My setup would't be to far off from his, and it should work too right?

Your front setup would stick out another 6mm from what that 2-tone coupe does. That may be enough for it not to work out for you... it's hard to say until you try it.

I tried searching through the thread search and google but can't find too much info on my soon to be set-up.

285/30zr18 on Enkei PF01 18x10.5 +15 will be the wheel/tire combo all around on an s14 kouki...I have overs on the rear but does anyone have info on fitting the fronts. I am hoping to get away with a mildly aggresive pull but couldn't find anyone else running 285s up front. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you punch that into a one of those calculators?

Tire size calculator

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
245/40-17 3.9in 12.4in 24.7in 77.6in 816 0.0%
285/30-18 3.4in 12.4in 24.7in 77.7in 815 0.1%

Just referenced it to the setup above you as a guide...

I think you should be fine, granted you are not slamming it to the floor?

Well I have the wheels on. They sit flush with the back overs but the front fenders will need a lot of pull. The issue I run into now is the fact that the tire hits the front bumper when turning. It's as if the wheel is sitting too far forward in the wheel well.

YOUR CHASSIS: S14

WHEELS: Enkei PF01 18x10.5 +15 all around

TIRES: General Exclaim UHP 285/30zr18 all around

MISC DETAILS: rb25 with supporting mods, tein coilovers and fully adjustable multi link and sway bars

PURPOSE OF CAR: street & track

That's with -2.75 degrees of camber, about a 25mm pull and I'm fairly low. Mojos13 If you want to be low at all you will also need wide front fenders to fit a 245 on an S13. Not to mention you will need to modify the upper wheel housing lip, back wheel housing lip and relocate the drivers side chassis harness. Otherwise a 245 will rub on all of those while at full lock.

My rear fitment and pull for reference... this is probably exactly what you are looking for:

Front fitment: 18x9.5 +12 with a 245/35/18 with -2.5 degrees of camber and 20mm wide fenders:

Let me know if you need any other pictures to check out.

Note: with an 11" +30 I had to modify the upper wheel housing, and notch the OEM lower control arm. So you may want to roughly stick to the size that JDM SPUG mentioned... a 10.5" in the +24 range or a 10" +17 range.

You can also go here if you want to see some of the different size setups I have had over the years. Let me know if you need additional close-up fitment pics of any of those setups.

XXR535's (F) 18X8.75 +20 235/35/18 (R) 18X10.25 +25 275/35/18, besides some rolling and a little pull in the rear, what other issues do you see with this setup for my stock sheet metal hatch?..Thanks for your help!..I could spend all day on this thread!

Also an idea, you can get different offset wheel,, 1 that takes up most of the space between your wheel and the coilover ( if there is any space now) and mabe a 20mm fender. might work.. how much space do you have between your rim and the coils right now? I know 14's have more room than the 13's.. that white coupe is clean as hell

This is the max tire fitment thread not the ask questions about wheel fitment to fender thread. If you're posting in this thread you're picking the tire before you pick the wheel. Always go with a high offset in the rear to get as close as the coil as you can.

Billabong89, there's no way that 285 is going to ever fit up front without overfenders. It's not worth fucking up nice OEM fenders to make them "fit". Get an 18x9.5 with 255 up front.

Here is the updated fitment on front. Found out my wife is pregnant with our first kid so I can't spend money on the car like I used to for a bit. Tires came with the wheels so I just ran them because it is the cheapest route.

Enkei PF01 18x10.5 +15 with 285/30ZR18 at all corners.

I am going to attempt to make custom front over fenders my self and see how I like them because it will be cheap and hopefully nice looking. lol.

Sup guys. I have read through this entire thread and love the amount of information and pictures so I thank you all for that.

I did want to ask for suggestions on a tire setup that would be as square as possible for my 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 rims. I was looking at something like a 245/40 front 265/40 rear. Was also considering a 235/40 front and 255/40 rear but I feel that the tires would be a bit stretched at that size.

This is going onto an S14 body with hopefully minimal camber so I am expecting a roll and pull. Car is currently on the lift but has FA 500 coilovers....if any of that matters.

Thanx in advance.

IMO I would do a 245 and a 275 I think a 245 might look a bit better then the 235.

I couldn't find the offset
17 x 8.5(front) / 235/45/17
17 x 9.5(rear) / 275/40/17
