Police Scanner is illegal in a car and unnecessary unless you plan on knocking over banks.

I posted it already but I'm gonna post it again cuz it makes me sad necause retards broke into the car and stole the radio, personal wheel, and sparco quick release then they tried to sell the steering wheel on zilvia.. look for "younghatchowner" ya... never got my shit back

Anyways guys should I do cage or no cage? I'm stuck not sure which I should do... oh btw since this picture has JDM S14 navan passenger seat, pioneer double din, suede headliner, and a busted IDR some JDM sprint steering wheel or whatever that I had hanging on my wall till I buy a new one. I'll post new pics tomorrow

Long story, I know who he is, he's some little punk kid... got a good job offer to move like 5 hours away at the same time I was trying to deal with that so it was either potentially lose the job offer wasting my time over a stupid steering wheel or just say screw it so ya just said screw it, whatever it sucks. Oh and cops recovering stolen property? Hahahaha what a joke that is.

Harness bar. Dont go all cutting up your car and junk for a cage. Might seem cool now, but you'll regret it.

A roll cage is not a safe choice for daily driving, unless your going to wear a helmet everywhere you go.

Damn i did a trade with that kid i think, and met him a while ago. He sends me pictures of ARP hardware all new and in the package. I drive down there he gives me a j30 diff with one axle because he couldn't knock the other one out. The arp hardware is used and some head studs are marred. He's lucky that shit wasn't worth a lot, but fuck that kid. I drove like 3 hours each way. He's some kid who was driving a beat to shit vert with gtr seats in it.

Anyway new momo wheel/hub/qr

Ya I mean what "cutting" is there really to do for a cage... carpet, rear panels, and dash... I have extra carpet, an extra mint rhd dash, and rear plastics are the same as USDM... I figure I can always cut it out if I get sick of it, but ya I'm just gonna do harness bar for now I think though, car has to go into paint before I start fabbing up a cage.

2 tubes down the A/B Pillars, 2 slits to a hole in the back panels. Depending on set up, maybe cut through the rear seats (can be worked around) and then the cage going down the sides by the seat belt pillars. If you really wanna, remove the pillar-trim and do dimples but not needed

there is more i think, thats what i can think of atm

We build cages and do all kinds of fabrication and stuff at my shop... so ya cage is not a problem what so ever. Already pretty much decided exactly how I wanna do it, just really deciding what door bars I want.

OMG only if you're a pansy. There is nothing wrong with having a roll cage in your daily driver. Just make sure you put the appropriate padding on it and don't be a little girl.

with a lack of airbags in most of our cars, a rollcage can help for a dd.....at least its some form of safety in the car

Not really. It just means your head does not have as far to go to hit something hard.

as far as i sit forward and as low as I sit bc of my seat rails, my head is very far from a cage. I'd rather my car not fold up like a popcan should i get in an accident.

a cage is only acceptable on the street if it is padded. In an accident, your spine and neck will actually stretch, so you may hit bars that you can't normally reach.

what? most of the time making a chassis more rigid by means of a roll cage will probably make any collision seem more violent because the lack of "crumpling" of the car. alot less "give" in the car.

a roll cage wont make a difference if u have a front end collision, might save you if u have a roll over though or maybe if u get t-boned....
