actually we should go do some touge runs on empire! SWEET!

Maybe some people from over the hill could use it as a good excuse to come over for the day.

yeah i will most definately be there..

let's not do next weekend as that is when the Buttonwillow Event is...

but after that i am free..

we could meet at Harvey West Park..there is plenty of parking..BBQ pits..nice grass...and it's easy to get to..

afterwards it a quick 5 min drive to where Empire Grade starts...then we could do the loop down to Bonny Doon Road..and out to HWY 1 and then back into town..

super easy to get to...take 152 east to the 5 south..go approx 2hrs on 5 south..and you are there..you can see the track from the freeway..the exit is LERDO HWY ..turn right when you get off the freeway..then turn left into the entrance of the Raceway..

if you go approx 5-10 miles past LERDO exit you will reach the exit for HWY 58...you will see a bunch of hotels and gas stations..that is where most people fill up and stay the night before..some decent restaurants too..

haha...nope..that will be in a couple weeks..

what we are discussing right now is the caravan down to the Drift Event at Buttonwillow Raceway Park..which takes place on Saturday August 9th from 8am - 4 or 5pm...

we will be driving down on Friday night..spending the night..and then drifting all day Saturday..and then returning home Saturday evening...

should be a blast..i think alot of very good people are going to be there..

yeah bro that does kinda suck..but the best drifting will be in the morning anyway..by the end of the day stuff will start to get sloppy from the heat and tire wear and pressures getting really high..

well change of plan were are not meeting by burgerking in watsonville but at a a garlic shop right b4 gilroy on 101 i think, so if anyelse is goin, meet us there at 800pm-810pm,s*** i dunno ask nokeone or slideways for direction im really not that good wit dat sorry..

haha...no biggie man..i'll help you out...

for anyone who wants to go, post up in here first so i can give you personalized directions but basically coming from the south, ie: seaside, monterey..take the 156 to the 101 north..then exit at the junction for the 25 east...there will be a Garlic Shoppe as soon as you exit..meet in that parking lot...if you see 129 on the 101 going north you are doing the right thing..keep going another 2.5-3 miles and you will be there..

from the north take the 101 south and exit the same at the 25 where the Garlic Shoppe is...if you see the 129 from the north you have gone too far..turn around and exit at the junction for the 25 as described above..
