I am pretty sure you will have no issue with the LS1 fitment. Luke had one on his LS-S14 and there was tons of room. This will depend on what mounts you are running.

That's crazy that they wouldn't come with those pieces. That's like selling shoes without laces. They'll sell them to you for extra though...

Anyone got one of these Ultra Racing 4-Point Braces? How's the quality and stuff? Looks like it hangs down below the oil pan, which is really why I want it. |

In the pipe fitting/welding business we use something similiar all the time to support pipe. Its the basic Stauff block (sometimes mispronounced soft block). Im sure you could find a way to make your own similar style supports. They make plastic and aluminum ones. Hell I could steal these all day lol. Very very commonly used. Basically an industry standard. Click the link to see what I'm talking about. STAUFF:*Standard Series <br />according to DIN 3015, Part 1 Last edited by BossHogg; 06-25-2012 at 07:59 PM.. |

Installed my Stealth Custom Fab tension rod brace last week.
Its a less then great photo, but the brace really woke the car up! Steering input and overall handling is significantly better! The car feels much better over bumps as well. I did a full review here: http://zilvia.net/f/businesses/46566...nnie-fraz.html

I am seriously interested in getting one of the first sets of these. Lmk when they've been dimensioned out and once you've started the prototypes/first run |

I've been doing some research on braces and planned on getting all of the GT-Spec stuff. I wanted some sort of floor bar, but since the Do-Luck bar is no longer around this may be the next best thing.
The ultra racing 2-pt room bar for S14 The picture is at a bad angle. Here's one showing the hump to clear the tunnel. Bar in the lower left corner. Their 2-pt adjustable rear upper bar looks interesting, but am unsure if it would really make a difference if a rear STB is already in place. Opinions on these two? Anyone have experience with them? |

This is my car. :-)
I have Nismo brace, but won't fit after I installed Nismo engine mounts. J-Spec rear ladder bar. This is a copy of Cusco's, so it won't fit well on US spec s13. I had to modify it like this. It looks crooked if you install it as it is. I believe no one mentioned Yashio Factory core support. Tunnel brace. eBay rear subframe bar. Can't beat $12 shipped. I also have this.

I have owned the Ultra Racing fender braces, 4-point lower bar (above), and the 4-point rear strut bar. I can assure you that quality is great. The first thing that you will notice is that the UR parts are VERY light. They use very thinwall tubing, which is quite nice, but easy to damage. The 4-point front lower brace does hang a little below the oil pan as well. IMO the UR parts are some of the best braces that you can buy. I've never heard of any companies actually stress testing their chasis braces, but Ultra Racing does. There is actual engineering behind what they sell...
