the closet thing to ny 240 site would be importfanatix.com.. its really an east coast site but and involves all cars but the majority of the ny mneets consist of 240s..

IFX has meets every other week at Ceasar's Bay. 4/23 was the last one. The next one will be May 7th.

im not sure exactly where we are moving. all i know is its near nyc. which looks to be like an hour from englishtown..how are the roads up there? and who knows where a run down business section of nj/ny is?

We might have a lot of potholes but it doesn't compare to the craters in Queens and the crazy flooding when it rains.

Plus we have alot of new streets.They even repaved Flatbush Ave I never thought that would happen and they're working on Linden Blvd.

also the streets in queens are worst ever,most parts in brooklyn streets arent too bad.My car slammed to hell( pignose lip is like 1-2in from the ground maybe less)

they "fix" them...then wen u go on them it feels like ur in a boat...i drove once in linden..i was like never again...lol

i never been bothered by my exhaust...i guess cause my exhaust is really quiet...2.5 piping...lol...and tints..i seen a lot of my friends remove theirs cause tickets....

I admit Linden is horrible but Queens still takes the prize for worst streets.

Exhaust sometimes and tint sometimes. I've never been stopped for either. 3" exhaust and 20% all around or 15% idk it's just above limo. My bro has no exhaust and got stopped twice BUT he has a Civic.

nyc roads are just bad all together from brooklyn to the bx.. but there is also another site I just found out about called nycnissans.com.. though the majority seems to be maximas they have their fare share of s chassis.. but I don't know of any street drifting that goes on, I'm not into drifting so never really looked into that..

As for street drifting just my crew and Island Slide I don't know of anyone else doing it. It's mostly 1/4 mile and Wangan runs in NYC.

im down for the street. not really into the 1/4b /wangan thing. car really isnt set up for that. but i would like to find some abandoned areas or a shop with a parking lot i can rent. if anyone sees anything let me know.

I had a meet at Floyd Bennett late last year so I know all the people there but it's a lot of paperwork to get anything done there because it is government property. I had to get 1 million dollars worth of insurance just to have the meet. An actual motorsports event will be very complicated.

Englishtown will rent out their track I spoke with Chris the road course director about that already and I'm working on setting a track day with him.

As for used local parts. Craigslist is your friend, NICO has a lot of local guys on there and most Zilvians are quick with shipping if you don't have to get something "today".

Ohhhh yeh I'm working on the next meet so keep your eyes and ears open it should be really interesting.......
