Hey guys i just bought a 240sx with an rb25det and im having a few issues with it and i was wondering if any of you gurus out there could help me out!

so yesterday when i came home i noticed that the car started to overheat in the street but i noticed that the electric fans werent coming on. So today i noticed that the fuse that is connected at the fuse box wasnt making a good connection. So i unplugged it and plugged it back in and all is well!

but later in the day as i was leaving auto zone and the car wouldnt start.. I noticed that the fuel pump wasnt priming so i went to check the fuse. and sure enough it was blown.

I replaced the fuse and i left but shortly there after it burned it again, and again.

Now the car has a new Walboro pump so idk what the issue might be.

Can you guys send me in the right direction so i can get this issue fixed?

Sounds like youve got a short to ground somewhere in there.

Either a short or your fuse is drawing too much power. It doesn't have anything else wired into it does it?

Definitely grounding out somewhere

Sounds like you have your electrical fans hooked up to the (+) fused source of the fuel pump relay, which is probably drawing way too much current for that little wire, thus over time causing it to blow the fuse. You need to wire up a relay that will switch on the electrical fans by power from the battery. Plenty of write-ups, do a search.

on my old car the oxygen wires were touching some how, ask if u may but that was my problem. taped them up and no more popping, just my 2 cents
