Red face Are s14 seats REAL leather?

Are S14 seats all leather or partially vinyl? I hear in some cars, the sides and the back are sometimes vinyl for the manufacturer to cut costs. Anyone know if s14 seats are 100% leather all the way around? I'm trying to restore mine and need to know what types of dyes to use.

Thanks homies

That stuff will fail. Save and get them redone with real leather

Lol. Pretty sure of yourself eh? Explain to me why you seem to think "that stuff will fail".

I am doing something similar to this method:

Looks a pitbull drives this car. I doubt s14 seats are real leather. When i had some ripped ones in my car the material seem like it was vinyl.

If there is any leather its the centers only. I doubt those are either.

Honestly man, you're asking a REALLY off-the-wall question. Did you REALLY think that nobody was going to flame you for it? IMO, If you know enough to be re-finishing your seats yourself, then you ought to know how to tell if a material is leather or vinyl. Just sayin...

but hey it's a 240? What's that suppose to mean. It's a poor person's car so you should treat it like you're a poor person? Or does it mean you really are poor and you have no choice but to treat it like you're poor?

Yes they are leather. Yours look like they are in decent shape too so I bet they can be restored. I would take them to a professional though.

Lol... Think I care if some butthurt trolls are going to flame me for asking a simple question?

Think again.

I was merely asking if some parts of the seat were vinyl since manufacturers sometimes wrap the sides and backs of seats with it to save money and still call it a "leather" interior. You can either answer the question and help a fellow 240 owner out or be a typical high post-count Zilvian basement virgin and respond like a negative cunt in an attempt to validate yourself.

That was the most polite flame post in the whole thread. I wonder why you chose to respond to mine???

BTW, your pic doesn't work...
