they came off of a 180SX with a 5 lug conversion that I bought in japan but im not sure what they came factory on...

Yes, Stageas, and also R33s (not GTR's obviously). They are 16x7s and ugly IMO. The forged R33 GT-R 17x9s are amazing and worth every penny.

Yes you are correct sir. 180SXs NEVER came 5lug from the factory, and the picture at the top isn't of 180SX wheels, the bottom picture is correct.

i want to mount my fiberglass china knockoff killing the industry 180sx type x variant rear wing, but i'm scared that my auto is gonna de-pimp itself at highway speed. did anyone ever have one come apart at the posts (where it's bolted to the main plane)? i'm not too confident.

I have one.got it for free thats why.I use to have the real one on my old car.Mines Fine.
2 ways you can do it,..use 4 water pump studs avail at any auto part Store - or use those just to mark and mount it.Then Put some bolts up through it.

My Hatch has Fallen HARD a bunch of times because of weak trunk Shocks and its STill fine.

Each wheel in each size and hole pattern needs to be tested and certified to be absolutely street legal.
