The red kouki is cool but it's not really my speed...The only body kits I like are origin streamline and GP sports I don't really like that snowplow look lol
i'd rock this shit |

Late post here but I have a 97 SE 5speed and my wife is the original owner. 110k miles and no accidents. All stock except lowered on H&R and Tokiko. Dying to swap in an SR20 since its only driven about 500 miles a year lately.

No. Everyone needs to emulate my steeze so I may steep in my own validation.
One of my favorites. If you think anything is wrong with this car then I feel sorry for your mother. |

The people with the best cars and the most knowlege don't post on the internet much, if at all. They are too busy with boats...and ho's. |

If you ever go visit Johnny, get him to take you to George's shop. You will see what I mean. This dude doesn't even have a sign up for his biz. I dont think he is even in the phonebook. But the work he puts out is incredible. He get customers strictly by w.o.m. Ask him to show you what's in the trailor. Mind boggling. |

I don't mind drift cars...I think it's a neat thing, and it's something I can't do. What I can not stand are 'poser' cars...by poser I mean 'big kits, nice paint, 500 miles a year'. Trust me, I know "it's not my car" but in the same sense, why waste it? My sentiments are not prejudice either; I hate seeing Vettes only getting highway milage, I hate seeing M3's parked and never getting used... So when I see these big shiney cars with all of the latest JDM fiberglass plastered to their body I step back and think: DOES IT WORK? One half assed drift day doesn't impress me. If you got the 'ability' to run that crazy 'drift style' kit I'd rather see it sideways at 80mph, than sideways parked at Office Max ya know? It's just hard to convey what I would rather prefer. I jus really hate poser cars. Sweet got the latest body kit and coolguy wheels? Awesome...I'd rather see tiresmoke rolling off them. Candy cars aren't my deal; it's like buying a rolex and not wearing it.

Cody,
Another side to the story is some of us work real and hard and long to enjoy building, driving, cruising and showing off a nicely put together machine. Not everyone is comfortable with wrecking years of sacrifice and hard work. I on the other hand am ok with tracking my vskf's, replacing body parts and painting every year or so. But this is all salary based. As you get older and the pay goes up things change. I remember my first sema build (13 years ago), I was 17 and throwing parties and flipping burgers to come up with the 30k needed to complete my turbo integra. At my salary level today that would be equal to a 100k build. Definately never tracked that car... Show queen only....

It's just my opinion, I don't think less of people for that...hell some of my better friends have cars in the EXACT scenario as you (granted I bust on them too, but it's their deal. In fact I wish I could afford some of their things for my 'tracked' car...ironic, but true. I just prefer to see stuff getting the balls kicked out of them...regardless of namebrand. Sure it's great guys like you and I can afford nice stuff and to track them, but if someone went out on Megan XXX or Rota XXX and still kept it nice, and still beat it up...I appreciate that too. At least Obeewann posts stuff of cars balls out on track...I like that. I dunno, my 'thoughts' will never make sense, as I'm not the best at putting 'brain to paper' kinda deal.
