PBM Big Brake Rotor problems...

I think I have everything installed right, but the caliper doesn't sit in close enough to use all the brake pad's surface. and I am using the 300ZX/Z32 30mm caliper as they stated that it'll work with. has anyone had this problem before..?

after some phone calls later, turns out that's how it's suposed to be. so install complete and went for a bit of test drive. man oh man they do feel better. now for rear brake upgrades. LOL

I don't have them but just a thought, are the brackets either side or are they side specific? They could be flipped?

If not maybe theyre just spec'd wrong. Theyre the same as the megan kit.

While on the topic of brakes. I am in the process of doing a 5-lug swap. However, my NEW rotor is a little thicker than the stock 4-lug rotor and my brake pads won't bite onto it, because it is too thick. I've searched this situation, and a majority remedy this by compressing the "caliper piston". Does anyone have any confirmation as to if this might be the solution? Just wanted to make sure, before I go out and waste my time if I am incorrect lol. Any info would be great, thanks guys! Also @icedsole, I'll get those measurements for you. Been quite busy the past couple days.

did you reset the pistons back all the way for the new rotors?

the pics i posted of the pbm brakes are the correct way it's installed.

Pick up one of these.

Like ten bucks. Put on ratchet, compress cylinder. Presto, shit fits. You do this when replacing pads too.
