Mom came out for the holidays. My wife and I decided to take here out to a nice park near the coast. We wanted to take the dogs so my dog rode shotgun in my car and my wife drove my Mom and our other dog in the S15. Made for a nice photo:



Got an old-school HKS header, OEM sideskirts, and some other stuff for the car. Waiting to get everything done when my wheels show up.

Hard color to find. There's one for sale here in Japan for close to $20k. Not saying it's worth THAT much but it's a color that's hard to find.

Not sure where they are getting their numbers but I am only seeing 1682 unique VIN #s with that paint code. Also, #1K4 is the combo code for #LH1/#463.

^yes, I was referring to that one, simply beautiful. Killer's is a beauty too, but that purplish silver takes the cake :-P
I actually own a deep fuschia kouki. Never been a big fan to be honest, I even had plans to get it repainted to a bluish silver, kinda like that 2 tone silvia, until I found out how rare the deep fuschia is, so now Im stuck with a dark purple car... Im learning to appreciate it I guess hahaha

I love this thread because you guys are all nerds about color like I am lol.

When I was trying to source a two-tone (before I even got here) I was surprised that no one knew it existed. For a while I even started to doubt what I knew. There have been two 1K4s for sale and both are/were up towards $20k. I'm not saying they're worth it and I don't think the purple has anything to do with it. The Japanese know that 'two-tone' Silvias go for more. Single-color cars with turbo motors won't fetch anywhere near a two-tone's price even if the latter is NA.

My blue/silver has some repair spots on it where the paint isn't OG but it's got low miles and it's an OEM manual. My wheels are taking forever to get to me and it's already making me think about selling it to do the whole 'car-less sabbatical' thing that depressed people do lol.
