What were the differences between S13 SE, XE (?) and no-postfix (??) models?  I can only guess that SE was Sport edition, XE luXury edition (??) and the other would be base... so it's sort of a Jack Queen and King 3-tiered trim level?

I believe I have the lowest (hand powerd window cranks, hand power sunroof, no rear spoiler etc), how is my car inferior to other S13s?

No such thing as XE.

1. Base Model (no sunroof, no alloys)
2. SE (Sport Edition) (sunroof and alloys)
3. LE (Limited Edition) (sunroof, alloys, ABS, VLSD, leather seats).

You may find some base models with a sunroof or some SEs with ABS & VLSD, but they're not very frequent.

Yeah, I realized I made that mistake after I posted it. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I -meant- LE rather than XE. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

So, I don't have alloys, but have a sun roof thingy... I guess not all base models didn't have a sunroof(?) FWIW it's just a hand-pushed pop-up roof, doesn't slide.

I believe that the XE was the model designation for the s13 coupe between 89 and 90'. This was the classification for the base models. After 90', the XE designation went away for base models.

Here is a link with some information...

Okay, so when people have a question and then make new threads, everyone says "search search search",

And when people actually do search and revive and old thread, everyone says "holy old thread blah blah."

Welcome to Zilvia.

Also his question still could have been answered by searching.

Had he actually searched properly he would have found out that in '89 all coupes were labeled XE.

Yeah, EVERYTHING wrong with Zilvia is all the mods' fault... Thanks for reminding us.

However
I will go with this answer instead:

With that said, if an old thread is bumped and essentially nothing is added as a result, we lock before it spirals into a menagerie of "ZOMG, YOU F'KIN N00B" followed by 50 posts of reminding why he was so wrong to bump the thread.

small victory ahead
hell, at least he searched for SOMETHING. Oh well, he has his answer now and this will be killed now.
