Hey guys, i've been looking into buying a new rwd car to drive around... and my friend recommended the 240sx, so i was wondering if anyone could tell me what year i should buy
because i looked up the models, and all the ones after 91 up to like 98 seem to be the same horsepower... and there are all these different models, but the web site i used, edmunds.com, gives the same specs for all of them, so i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good one, thanks

89-90: 2.4L SOHC engine with 140 hp, don't know the torque offhand
91-94: 2.4L DOHC engine with 155 hp and 160ft/lbs torque
95-98: Same engine as the 91-94, though with a beefier engine, can be pushed harder without needing a rebuild.

The 91-94 have a bit stiffer factory suspension and lighter weight, it was softened with the 95+ models for a more comfortable ride.

Personally, I would recommend a 95-98 because i love the newer body style, but thats not reason enough to buy a car.
If you are just looking for a daily driver just buy an older one with some miles on it, it'll be alot easier on the budget, and you're still getting a great driving car.

'97-'98 has the dope, aggressive front end. I like that body style the most. '91 had the best cams. Look for a model with an LSD.
