I'm looking for a place to get a rebuilt (or new) KA24DE. I've got the KA24E right now, and I'd like to get a turbo eventually, so I want to swap. This engine's got some slight mileage on it as well.

I've been thinking about swapping to the sr20det, but I don't know if I want to loose the low end torque that i've got right now.

I was in the same predicament. The SR20DET is a little more cost effective horsepower wise. But I would never take that over a KA24DET. I was addicted to torque ever since I was 17 and got my Z. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> hehe

SR20DET is the Wiser way to go.

KA24DET is the Crazy way to go

I'm thinking that now... Maybe i'll just go with the Black-top SR. HEY, that reminds me, I saw a CHROME top SR, Is that a new engine or has it just had a little dress-up work done to it?

I wouldn't mind sandblasting the top of my KA to give sort of a brushed aluminum look, but it'd get dirty pretty quick
