Yup, it comes off the same way. I took both of those black stripes off my car.

Ok, now that I got the tape and pin stripes off, what can I use to get that sticky, residual gook off.

You can use stuff called "Goof Off." It comes in a yellow can with red lettering and should be in the paint department at your local hardware store. If there's a Lowe's near you, they carry it. It was the only way my boyfriend could remove the pinstripes from the 12-year-old Camaro (from a junkyard) he was rebuiding. If it worked on that, it should most definitely work on your car. Good luck!

Thanks Chick. I couldn't find the Goof Off but I found some stuff called Goo Gone (I'm guessing from the name similarity that one is a spin off of the other), and it worked pretty good.
