i looked at a few but none were in good enough condition..

this one ias a 1989 w/ about 140k miles on it, kinda high but it ran 10x better then any other i looked at.. it looks good inside, has a new heads up display, is automatic, runs good, needs a muffler and a paint job.. the body is great but has minor dings and paint fuck ups, definatly a paint job is in its future, after the body kit ill paint it.

http://www.classifieds2000.com/cgi-cls/ad.exe?P1+C14+A0+R1169289+Q254247934

im buying it for $2200, gotta pick up the title tomorrow and register it so i can hit the road, 17's are goin on tomorrow, im going to order a stereo install kit, carbonfiber dash kit and a few other things RIGHT NOW! muwahaha.

thanks for the help guys, ill be sure to post more later once i get the car i wonder if my MOMO tornado stearing wheel adapter will work in the 240, thanks.

Nice! Thats a perfect car to do a SR20DET swap too. But i'd get all the miles out of it you can, they run forever.

Make sure you lower it so your car dosent look like a SUV with those 17"ers.

definatly, ill take the engine as far as it will let me then swap a turbo in it, nothing like hearing that big oll hybrid t3/04 turbo spoolin up in the morning !!! make you just grin so huge.. ne way thats a while down the road i hope!!

hey i want a Carbon fiber dash kit, i searched Nopi but they want $250 for it, any place cheaper? i got like $500 right now to spend, i think ill order lowering springs since they only cost $250? i think was the cheapest ive seen! ya it definatly needs lowering kit, big 17's and stock springs makes for one ugly ride, my buddy has a altima w/o lowering kit yet and it looks like crap.

thats exactly where i was just @ before clicking the email link for here, rofl, nice! ya $250 is as low as they go..

i just got back from the bank, after $2200 for the car it leaves me with $300 till tomorrow to buy stuff, i guess ill order the springs now, spend the rest on tinting the windows.. the interior is good so i really dont need that overlay kit stuff, definatly a want thing later on..

im thinking ill have another $300 tomorrow, what should i get? it needs exhaust but i dont want a $500 kit so ill just get a muffler and have custom pipe bent to stick it on.. ive had a hard time finding cold-air intakes, definatly need one of those! um.. its a automatic too, help me spend this $300 , springs are good as bought, tint, what else? i got rims, stereo, um.. exhaust ill buy today.

so my current $300 is getting rims, exhaust, and tint.. stereo/rims will be moved over tomorrow thanks.

So your gonna use you wheels off your 280? Exhaust wont really help the 240 unless you get a well designed one like a 5-Zigen or Apexi, although I did feel a dif with my Custom 2.5" Exhaust system. As for Intake I like the Injen and once again a good source is Shawn @ enjukuracing.com.

cool, ya since my z rims are universal they should bolt right up, im gonna be using all the bolt-ons from the 280zx, might as well since its just going to be parked for a few months..

im just gonna get a universal muffler and put it on, it leaks right now so anything is better.

is the intake worth ordering for an automatic? where i got the springs [for $116, impactparts] they wanted like $60 for the intake, is it wworth it? that leaves me with money for tint.. thanks.

I would personally only go with an intake system like the Injen since it replaces the actuall piping. That is where the power will come from, and I think it will be helpfull for an auto. What 60$ intake were you talking about?

I would get the springs but I would only put them on if I had shox... but that is me....

id only put springs on with shocks.. i did it to my 280zx and WOA its really nice.. but this is just an alternative to cutting the springs on the 240, i really dont care to much about the car.. yes i like it, yes i want to mod it, but it doesnt have to be the best or most expensive.. i sorta learned my lession w/ that on the 280zx, sink all the money and it gets ruined and i only get 3grand! im basicly just going to "rice" up the 240, no stickers or crap but a body kit, wheels, springs, intake, and some minor mods.. it just has to be nice for me to drive..

the intake for $60 i think was just a replacement filter, he said it kept the same piping on the top, i really havent looked at the way the intake is setup.. i would like a cold air intake, but what ever..

ill take a look at pdm? or what ever for intakes, thanks.

You think that's Ghetto? In my friends car he wanted white faced guages, so what did we do? We took the console apart and took the piece up to work, and took it and put it on the copier, and hit the invert color button.. bam. White face guages came out of the other end.. Hehe.. I wouldn't do that for my car, but he had a saturn and didn't care.
