yea, send it to West. You need the pic to be on some sort of webpage, not your computer. West can upload it to this site and that way we can see it and you can now post it on various other sites <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Yah, I wouldn't mind changing the amber of my own to clear. Can't say I'd go for the full clear setup, just not my style. The amber just doesnt fit well with my metallic red body

If anyone's curious and willing to do the work, i have a site that has instructions on how to do it.
http://www.homestead.com/aerokits3/Howto_Cleartails~ns4.html Just try not to mess up your only set of tail lights. I might end up trying it b/c i have 2 sets. |

I really don't wanna offend anyone...
MasterK... That site is kinda... well... a dumb person must have written that. I caught at least 3 times when he was saying "Glue these things together with some kind of glue" and "Some sort of office lighting." WTF is that?!? Anyway... I would like to do this, but what was with the flourescent light covers? What is wrong with just plexiglass? Or the covers after he peeled off the red stuff on the inside of the lens? I'd like to know how 240likenoother did his! mabey he could be a little more clear. -Jeff |

I know a bunch of guys from Twinturbo.net do this for other Z owners for a fee. Im sure they could do it for our cars.
I have tried the whole process before but I dont have that kind of patiance with delocate peices so I gave up. Search tt.net and find out how to do it yourself, its not that hard really. |

OK, maybe I'm a month late, but has anyone tried buying a can of talight paint and just painting your lights red. Red and white looks really good on my S13. I wouldn't trade them for clears-ever. (I've got the trunk, so maybe that's why. Anyway...)

There was some drifter girl with a purple 180sx in super street a few issues back and she had clear taillights (clear where it should be amber). When i looked closely, the middle part of the lights that should have said 180sx said 200sx. Do 200sx's (i think that is the 240 from europe...)come stock with those because if so, then just order them or something. Might be easier then gluing stuff together...just my 2 pennies.

The whole "make them yourself" idea up there... try it if you have 2 sets of tails, as someone said. I wouldn't risk my only pair to destroy them. And who knows, they might come apart in rain or something. I dunno... I'm just lazy, so don't take advice from me.

i just might have to try that someday. i think it would be fun. i might just go to my gramps' house... go inflate the tires in his/my 84' sentra. and i just might go vacum it out and change the oil, wash it, and pull it into the garage. pop out the tail lights... clear them out... drive it around a couple of times. take it back and park it. i love messing with car junk.

Got the same problem. I pulled my dashboard apart today, broke five billion parts <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

My friend had S13 Silvia lights that looked all red but blinked amber. I dont know how exactly to explain how the lights look but I'm sure someone knows and has pics.
