Fortune auto toe arms, is this normal

The gap (exposed thread), this concerns me as the bush sleeves on the arm float about. just need some reassuring.

On a side note if anyone has a spare toe arm inner bolt, nut & washer, the cam/adjustable one please let me know as i am missing one, unless it is ok for me to use a normal high tensile bolt now i have the adjustability of the arm itself?

Yeah get yourself some washers to fill in that gap. Just make it even in the middle.

You can use a regular bolt, but make sure it can't move around in the bigger hole. They make lockout kits for when you have adjustable arms.

Contact Fortune Auto, they should be able to correct it. Looks like they give you the wrong spacers or something.

No they're not

since nobody has made the statement after so many posts: s14 toe arm has longer gap in the subframe
in order to use s13 after market arms you need wider misalignment spacers.
btw, thought this has been common knowledge for years

^^^ yeah what he said...
its only the ruca and traction arms that are the same width...looks like you have s13 toe arms and s14 subframe.

did you buy the arms used?

I was sent 14 toe rods on accident and theyre a lot wider than s13 subframe. do not put spacers or whatever else on there, either swap out the ends if you can or send them back for s14 ones.
