I did the EVO front swap and the z32 rear swap on a S15 with ABS and BMC, can anyone tell me if this combination of caliper and BMC has performance issues ?

as far as performance issues its really up to the driver and what you are going to use it for. only thing else you should look into is high quality brake pads and or 2 peice hat and rotors for your application. if that doesnt work there is carbon ceramic rotors from the PGT |

Oh and I'm still running the S13 non-abs MC. With hawk blues front/back (Z32 setup in the back) and 275 RA-1's on all four corners, braking is great. On 235 advan street tires I can get rear lockup if i don't heel/toe at threshold braking. |

You can try it and then realize that common sense would tell you no it will not fit. Esp when a evo brembo is almost 2x the size of a z32 caliper and the evo rotor is 1inch larger in diameter over a stock z32 rotor.

test fitted the rears today
*note the awesome jack and I'm aware air bleeders up I need to rant a little bit.. because I'm fucking annoyed trying to get a bracket made: I go to pick up a piece of mild steel at a steel shop 7in x1.25in x 0.50in I get their.. guy says all they have is 7in x 1.5in x 0.50in, note this stuff is 1/2in thick.. a hacksaw won't do and grinding it takes forever.. yesterday I call up another steel shop, ask if they have it.. they do, they close at 5pm so I wait till tomorrow today I drive down to that shop get the metal pieces drive home start measuring everything out go down to sears pick up the drill bits and a few angle grinder discs to make the notch go to kragen / checkers / autostore pick up some brake fluid and an extension on a brake line ( doubt I need ) I have everything to need to swap over the brakes... I go to start drilling and notice.. hmm this looks a lot smaller than a half an inch... measure it 1/4 of an inch! 7in x 1.25in x 1/4in / 0.25in those brackets people have up for sale.. are dam tempting heh, but I need this bracket done for tomorrow

I just got done with a kit for my hardbody, im going to be doing the same on the 240 when I get done with the truck. Not a bad deal, the wilwoods are around $160 per caliper and I used 03 Cobra front rotors. 13" 4 pistons for a good price. Now the brackets are going to be a little bit of cash....

anyone figure out how to run sti front rotors? i dont like how the evo rotors push the calipers out 10mm further than sti or z32 rotors do.

To be completely honest, you should know piston area and pad area for the 6pots you're using and compare that to Z32 fronts - I'm imagining they're 6 "small" pistons (as opposed to Z32's 4 "large" ones), so I'm guessing overall piston area and pad area shouldn't be too different... and you're using z32 rears, so that makes it even easier.
Just pointing that out for future reference, as this is a pretty tits thread for 'big brakes'.
