Looks fucking great man. Props. I'm getting the same cage basically, except the Godspeed one, because it's cheaper, and the only reason I want it is to be able to tandem at local track events. Don't get me wrong, I do want the Cusco one, but can't really afford it, and the Godspeed one will let me do what I want, so I'll be happy.

Not trying to hype up godspeed but safety 21 is pretty garbage. I don't expect mine to help in a roll over. I bet Godspeed is just as strong.

i do believe there is a video of some japanese bolt in cage in a car that rolls over. no one died

godspeed has proven multiple times that their shit sucks. something about cusco just seems like its more safe, maybe cause they've been around for a while

Damon has a post in his build thread on how to cut the rear panels well. I thought it was on his blog but apparently not.

I welded plates on the car floor board all 6 points on my safety 21 cage, now their is probably no chance of it punching throw... The main plate is 6x6 inch by 1/8 thick and the others are 5 inch, i also used bottom plates too... I also added the harness bar the sidebars came like that, that's just how I bought it.

^that looks awesome

To my understanding Cusco is made of different material. Not trying to start an argument but my old autopower seemed way stronger than my safety 21. Safety 21 def looks cooler though haha

Safety 21 is mild steel.
Cusco is Chromoly.

But they are identical in shape and everything else except color. Cusco comes in blue. Safety 21 is black.

I'm not sure, I've never worked with one.

Well I'm not sure on the material, I know they say it's cold rolled or something like that for safety 21 but. My harness Bar I welded up is Dom....

But after the plates I welded up, I'm very confident it's far better than other bolt on cages, since I have a larger area to spread the load and it is welded to the car, just incase I roll.
