If the crankshaft measurements are off, the crankshaft must be ground to match the oversized bearings. A competent machinist needed.

A bit more info about which car this is for would be more helpful.

You should direct this to the Want to buy section rather than the small questions thread.

As mentioned, if your crank shaft is out of spec, it will need to be ground to ?true? it. When that happens, the machine shop should be measuring the necessary tolerances. Oversized bearings are a must (thicker backing plate) to correct the variance in those tolerances. An align bore should also be considered if upgrading hardware.

I've got a high idle only when coming to a complete stop. Idle is set correctly with the TPS pulled, and is normal if I clutch in while coasting, but as soon as indicated speed drops to zero, it jumps up to around 250 rpm above where it should be for the engine temp.

It's an original 5 speed late '93 S13 KA. Mostly stock configuration except the PAIR system is removed.

I'll try unplugging the EGR/EVAP solenoid to see if that's what's doing it, but the behavior seems opposite of what I'd expect if that circuit is the culprit - the solenoid should be open pretty much only while coasting down and closed otherwise.

It's not a leaky brake booster or booster hose or check valve, nothing changes if I get on/off the brake pedal. It's entirely dependent on indicated speed. Power steering pressure sensor is installed and working. A/C is off (duh).

My only other thought is someone somehow put an auto trans ECU in it for some reason and it's idling up because it thinks it's in Drive? I never bothered to look at the ECU ID. I only took it out once, way back in 2017 when I bought the car. Or could any of the manual transmission gear sensors have anything to do with it? It's got the reverse, neutral, 4th, and 5th sensors, reverse sensor works, one of the four seems to have a slight oil leak and I wonder if it's flaky.

Most standard automobiles use an 18 gauge primary wire. Depending on your vehicle's original wiring, you might find that the typical wire gauge for the engine harness is 14-20 gauge. Copy and paste from this internet thing called Google

There isn't one. It's part of the compressor itself. It may be able to separate it, but no unique part number.

Sorry, not the actual compressor but the idler pulley that shares the aluminum bracket.

I think it's Dorman 89149. I ordered one and will report out.

I can confirm the Dorman 89149 is correct for a RB20DET and RB25DET Neo.

How did you backtrace a JDM part to a Dorman number? Can the same be done for an SR pulley? Sorry for the spoonfeed request lol but I guess I'm just impressed.

Guessed. Lots of Nissan parts swap so I ordered a 300ZX idler pulley and it's the same sized, bearing and rib count.

SR? I'd guess a B13 SER Sentra would be the same.

RB starter, I back tracked the manufacturers part number. I think it's a Hitachi, turns out Mitsubishi Fork trucks use the EXACT SAME STARTER. Go from spending $500 to $65.

Has anyone tried these instead of the stock s-chassis door stopper? I see these all the time of Yahoo Japan Auctions and have been curious if this is a viable solution. My driver-side door squeals from stopper. I've checked around and Nissan discontinued them a bit ago.

I believe the R35 unit is compatible with the S14. I am not sure about the S13.
