sorry, ka24de

and yeah the valve cover gasket. I'll be replacing head gasket as soon as bolts arrive

So ive been looking around for this bumper and can only find it through Shine Auto themselves. They quoted me 350 for the front bumper.

My question is, how much do these go for used? or anyone who makes a very similar bumper because im guessing this is already a replica of something.

Are Stance AL+Pros rare now that they don't make them anymore? Or does this mean I'm screwed?

I was driving my car today and started it up about 4 times perfectly fine, but after I shut it off to go into my house to grab a few things before I went off to class I tried starting it up and it will not turn over. All that happens is I hear a drill-like sound when I turn the key in the ignition, but the engine wont crank or turn over. Is this a bad starter or something else? Any help would be great, thank you very much in advance

its been answered numerous times that its originally made by pac auto. Have someone see if they can find one for you on YAJ

If I had them I'd put them up for $15 OBO. That's just me though. It's nothing anybody couldn't pick up at pick n pull for $5.

tried searching, no luck...very simple question:

for those of you s14s that have fortune auto 500 coils, what rim clearance do you get? what is the highest offset you can get away with for any given width before the wheel hits the strut housing? all i need is a few figures to do my own calculations...

Anybody? Also theres a ground on the bolts of the cover cover of the diff thats currently on it, is it needed or can I just remove it?

use a wrench on the back side and let it come up against the driveshaft/underbody, that will prevent the back nut from spinning with the bolt.

If you don't have access to an impact.... then breaker bars and pb blaster are your only friend.

Grounds are always good. No sense in removing them

If you have access to MAP gas, just heat the bolt. They will come off like buttah

The wastegate needs to be connected to a pressure source as close to the turbo as possible. Ie compressor housing or hotpipe Do not use a signal from the intake manifold because engine vacuum will damage the diaphragm inside the wg. As for the nipple on the cold pipe that 1 inch connection is for the idle control. Do not use that. If you do not want to drill and tap the compressor housing or have a nipple welded to your hotpipe you can use something called a quick tap. You simply drill a hole in a silicone coupler and insert the fitting. This is what I use and works great. No boost leaks. Search atpturbo.com to find it.

6'4 is gonna be really tough in a GTR seat on stock heigh rails. My good friend is 6'2" and he hasta lean the seat way back to fit in my s14 even (which as more headroom than s13's IMO). If you really need headroom, maybe some low profile rails in a bucket seat? Or if you don't want to ever move the seat, hard mount it to the floor.

The cold pipe nipple or intake willbe fine. If you're that concerned, why not goto a welder and have a fitting put on your hotpipe?

Like shit. Leave it in unless the rest of the car is a ragged gutted machine.

i was taking off my head to replace the gasket and realized i removed the bolts in the opposite order like a retard...

I removed them in the order that you do if you are tightening it, cause i thought i had the tighten sheet with me at the time

how fucked am i?

i did it in 2 steps, i haven't completely taken it off to check distortion but what are the chances of it being junk now...

if you don't get what i'm saying, i started with the intake side middle bolt and worked my way to the furthest back exhaust side bolt, 3 steps, instead of doing it the opposite way (starting at last exhaust and working inward)

You'll be just fine. The big thing is when you retorque it back down with the new HG to follow it in order.

Also remember that if using ARP studs, to torque them in order in increments of 10-15 up until 85 ft lbs.

So Im going to try posting in here before I make my own thread for this. Since I pulled the car out of storage this year when i start my car none of the power options (windows, locks, climate control, radio, dash lights or gauges) operate. There is absolutely no power to anything until i tap the throttle to give it a little rev, then it seems to jump alive, and everything starts to work again. I just replaced the battery and had the alternator checked so I dont know what could be causing this. The power locks also dont work after the ignition is turned off, which they did before.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
