i doubt it will plug up a hole in the hose. Clean all the coolant in the engine bay and start the car. Then find where it is comming from.

That stuff will only clog up your radiator.

Stop leak is a really bad idea....
It can plug your heater core, radiator and even coolant passages.

You can use PVC tape to TEMPORARILY fix a leak in a coolant hose.
If you get a leak in the radiator, or heater core use crushed pepper it also a temporary fix.....

no means to thread jack. But my coolant leak is getting really annoying.

what could be sources of a coolant leak coming from the driver side engine bay, around the exhaust manifold area? Water pump is not leaking though, but it's really close to the... front sway bar area?

there is no coolant near the sway bar, only the water pump, or from the radiator?

if the coolant is coming out of the top weep hole on the WP it can get thrown everywhere by the betls/fan, keep that in mind when trying to isolate the problem.

hunt down a coolant system pressurizer, it will do wonders in helping you find the leak (any mechanic will have one.)

thx for the comment.

the coolant is not coming out from the top weep hole - the belt/fan accessories and such are dry. I will do some good check up once finals are over...

I believe Russ once pointed out there is a plug there used to fully flush out the coolant system. There are also freeze plugs and stuff around there on the block.

Stop Leak=RETARDED
