yea I tried tightening the nut in the rear with no success. Ive tightened the fronts with an impact and it worked great, but theres no way your gonna fit an impact under the rear window so dropping the coil would be necessary. I might give this a try along with lubricating the pillowball mount.

lift car off ground and remove rear wheels. with the spanner wrench, have someone hold the coilover while you (or someone else) torque the top nut. the manual that came with the coilover will tell you the torque setting.

Is a test pipe enough to cause the car to smell like fuel in the cabin? Enough so that I get dizzy after driving for 40 minutes?

plug all the holes with rags and then put a tarp over it.. try to keep it indoors if possible.. otherwise, build a cheap box around it and set it outside.. some 2x4's and some plywood would work

straight gas? a test pipe would only pump the car full of exhaust fumes, which is a different smell that gas.. is this an S13? chances are that little gasket around your fuel tank is messed up.. did you change the fiel pump lately?

This is an s13 coupe, I bought the car so I'm not sure about the fuel pump. But this did not happen until I swapped the sr20det, and TP in. BUT, I am also having problems with the cars idle at operating temperature and start up when warm. I think its running too rich at those moments and bogging out. Would running super rich have an effect like that? Or maybe a leaky injector o ring or something?

Also when I stick my head in the trunk near the fuel pump I do not smell gas, so I don't think its from that.

yup...did it in a truck I used to own...just clean it really good, I scrubbed with Simple Green and never had a problem. If you're not keeping your carpet, it'll look better if you remove the factory stuff.

I think maybe he's asking what size over fenders to get?? Thats what I gathered. Looks like 30mm's would do the trick if he plans on keeping that much negative camber.

Cool, thanks. I am keeping the carpet, so I didnt really want to deal with the whole dry ice thing if I don't need to.

Hey guys, I need help locating this hood...I have been searching for a long time now, and I still can't figure out which company make this hood. I've tried Dmax, Uras, Origin, among many other popular/famous companies, and none of them are the right ones. So I'm kinda desperate now and any sort of help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The hood that is hanging on the wall in the background is the one I am trying to look for.

Hmmm, like I said, though, I've checked all those out before, and they are definitely not the same. If you are to compare the dimensions, and the way the vents are designed, it LOOKS the same, but it's really not that similar. Hmmm, I guess no luck here too.

Thanks anyways though!

Im in need of a brake booster for my 1990 240 hatch sohc. It was an auto until a few days ago when I did a 5 speed swap, now after the swap it seems the booster went bad. Now my question is...
Are the s13 brake boosters the same for 5 speed or auto? Are s13 brake boosters the same as s14? What other cars use the same brake booster, so if I go to the junkyard Ill be able to look at other cars.
Thanks

I have a silvia front end. My passenger headlight's outer bulb is dim in comparison to the driver's side. What should i look for to fix this? They turn on fine, the high beams turn on fine so i doubt its the light switch.
