Hi all, new here so I figured I'd start off right.
Im in no way new to cars. I've worked in high end detailing, high end aftermarket audio installations and am fairly well versed in general mechanics. My first real heavily tuned car is a 1996 Honda Civic with a fully built turbo single cam. Makes right around 350 hp and 250 to and is plenty fast. This was built for time attack. But. Wanting to stray away from my Honda roots and get into a new "genre" of cars and racing, I decided to start a new project. So I went and purchased a bare '89 hatch shell that didn't even have glass on it. Partnering with my good pals and sponsors Streetstandard.com my vision is to build an immaculately put together s13, take it to SEMA once, do a nice little show circuit and then take it straight to the track to compete in the SW drift series and eventually, with any luck, work my way up into a fairly successful position in competition. Its been about 3 months since I bought the chassis and it's already starting to come together. I'm not sure when I can start posting pictures, but if you're curious you can check the car out @Brix_Rhs13 on insta. All in all, in glad to be a part of the S-chassis community and thoroughly look forward to learning a whole new sport and building yet another wild car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hey people, my name is Dorian and I've had my 1989 240SX for over 4 years now. I've done a bunch of work to it both repair and improvement. Right now I'm preparing to do the BIG frame rail rust repair job on my car. Wish me luck!
I've also fixed a bunch of things on my previous cars: 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 2005 Honda Civic, 1994 Jeep Cherokee XJ so feel free to ask me if you need advice with any of those vehicles. P.S. Looking to do a 6.0L LS/Vortec Swap w/z32 NA manual trans in the not-so-distant future! |

Hey Guys. Name's Kevin, long time lurker and finally decided to create an account. I've loved 240sx's since I was a kid and ended up helping my little brother buy one about 5 years ago. We have taken damn near every bolt off. He's now got a 2jz hatch with bigger plans. I'm still driving my Rsx and plan on picking up a 240 this summer. Looking forward to meeting some of you folks and learning a lot more.

Request for SR Tuner!
Hey guys, new here. Building a respectable S14, going well but I know I'm going to need a tuner. Is there a reputable shop in the Toronto area? It is an SR with lots of work done, and so I'd like someone specializing in SR's to work on it. This is not a rusty hack project, lol! My computer skills are limited but I will try to post some pic's and spec's later. Thanks!

Been lurking on this for a while, finally decided to create an account. Hopefully this helps me keep track of all that is done. My name is Christopher, bought someones headache and now it's become my migraine.
It being a 1990 SOHC Hatchback purchased April, 2014. Sat in my parents garage for about 2 years untouched. Plans as of now are to hopefully ditch the single cam motor for something a little more reliable, and fun to work on. SR, is what's most likely going to end up happening, but if a deal comes up I could be up for whatever.

My advice is try the what you have first , a good source said that the SOHC are work horses and mine sat for 10 years at my girlfriends house it was her fist car dad bought for her. It needed everything fuel related but it fired up and ran strong for 2 years before head gasket blew. One thing bad is wiring specialties doesn't have custom harness I begged them to make me one they said no, advised there is plugs and kits available for connections.
