So I had originally picked up a Alpine single din from Toby to run. I was thinking about keeping it simple. That went out the window as soon as a nicer GPS double din came up on a great deal...
Yeah, I thought about it for a few minutes before I scooped it up...It's funny that my project car will have a nicer headunit then my daily (older Pioneer Avic-D3)... Rules: |

Just a little something we did these past 2 weeks over at Driftactics. It was pretty difficult restoring the horribly cracked dash and the driver side panel but we made it work. What do you think?

Not sure how I feel about the white floral... would've been cooler if it were the polar negative like black on black floral. Too much contrast for me. Good work either way

Thanks.
Carbon door shells. Got them at such a good price I couldnt resist. They do not reduce weight by much but they go well together with the roll cage. No door pockets like the original shell. The center console has a 7" touch screen. I use it together with a inbuilt tiny carputer to access and tune the engine ecu. Under it I mounted a digital climate control unit

I cut the original frame and relocated the pieces to fit the screen and the climate control. To secure them in place I used a special mix of filler and fiber reinforced plastic. After that I took the screen apart and mounted the screen frame to the console with more filler frp mix. Finetuning with fine filler, sanding and a final touch with 3-component paint. Remounting of the screen on the frame... Job done.

Thanks man. A buddy of mine did 95 percent of the work. I just paid the money. It was very time consuming and pretty difficult but for the price it was well worth it rather than buying a new dash. Now I have something different and unique. We can deff figure something out about your interior. Shoot me a private message.

Yes, I'm sure you can get wood too on certain models but don't know what ones. Cresta maybe.
I can't make my mind up on it, half of me thinks it'll look better all black but then it looks pretty cool up close.

Finally got around to re-wrapping my armrest and door cards (still need to get some piping made). Special thanks to Broadfield for the tips on his blog, saved me some headaches. Ended up with a few wrinkles I couldn't seem to work out, but its not a show car so it'll do for my purposes
