Couple of questions..

Shifts are hard when cold and stiff when the car has been sitting fir hours/days.

Looking to change transmission fluids.

1.) How many quarts does the RB tranny need to fill?..i dont wanan overfill..

2.) anyone heard of GM synchro mesh?..it did wonders on my honda tranny but im not sure how this tranny would take to it..

3.) i'v been recomended Redline MT-90 and was gunna purchase it but wanted a 2nd opinion...

im looking for smoother shifts and over all synchro protection..

i also heard that synthetics can be detrimental because trannys need friction..

discuss.

i put 3 quarts of Redline MT-90 and it still wasnt quite enough, i checked with the side plug on the tranny and it was pretty close, so i think you will be safe with 3 maybe buy a 4th if you want. the RB25 has a huge tranny so if you wanna be safe, get the car level and just pour it in the shifter hole until it comes out the side filler plug

never used GM synchro mesh, i think ill just stick with the redline
my RB shifts smooth, had royal purple before, feels about the same
dunno about the syntheic thing tho
