I ordered my power steering stuff a little while ago, but I'm doing a KRC pump with attached reservoir. So the only things consistent with my PS setup and yours are the two fittings at the rack. Therefore I didn't want to recommend a bunch of stuff and maybe be wrong on a couple things... like whether or not a 90 or a 60 is needed at the rack for the high pressure side. So did you already get your PS stuff hooked up? If so, how did everything work out? Also, if you have good pics of the setup, then feel free to post them in here.... it never hurts to have pics of XRP product
I've got most of it made, though customs must think the 90* you sent is a bomb threat, still hasn't showed up. Not out of the ordinary for it to take this long though. Still need to make a bracket for the bulkhead fitting and get the pump return TIG'd. I will definitely post photos once its all finished.

Trinidrift3, pm me or post here and I can help you figure out a set up if you'd like, basically it would depend on what you want to do for a reservoir.

cheers
-Evan

Might be a stupid question, but I'm redoing all my vacuum hose and was looking into making them an fittings and hose. Pretty much like your setup. I'm also using the golden eagle block. I've been using all Jegs fittings and the black braided hose for my catch can and fuel lines. And was reading there description and it says not for use of brake line and vacuum. You have any insight on this? Or recommendations?

I'll take your suggestions. But I found the Jegs brand, but not to much in variety to choose from. And size for the line.

I'd like to replace my power steering hoses with AN/braided hose. Do you have suggestions on fittings and hose selection? I plan on replacing the reservoir as well. It appears most universal reservoirs use -6 and -10 fittings for return and outlet.

damn, look at that. It pays to actually read the thread.

Thanks for putting that together. I wasn't sure what fittings went on the pump and rack.

Just edited it to be clear on what goes where! Also note, I put some -6 hardline in the low pressure, rack to reservoir side of my set-up, to run XR-31 from the rack to reservoir, order (2) -6 90* 209006 and (0) -6 Straight 100006.

There's plenty of uses... anywhere that you currently have hoses/lines

I kind of just wanted some steel braided lines.

-6AN or -4AN fuel braded line (5 feet)

And I wanted to get my valve cover lines also

Something like -12AN or -10AN (5 feet)

If that makes any sense

How much for something like this?

* I would have to double check -AN sizes to make sure

So do you already have everything converted over to an AN fitting? You cannot simply swap out your OEM rubber hose for braided stainless or braided nylon hose. You would need to convert all of the attachment points over to AN male and then use AN hose with the appropriate AN hose ends.
