they say that HID's are illegal, but cops dont really mess with you. They havent messed with my brother and they havent with me either, unless they just want to be a big asswhole and pull you over and give you a ticket, but then it wont be that bad cuz it would only be a fix it ticket, all you have to do is slap on the old ones and get your ticket sign by any cop showing you have the old lights on and it only comes out too like 10dollars and then you can slap on the HIDs again. So its not really something big to worry about. lots of brand new cars have HIDs and cops cant really tell . Its all up too you man.
