The oil filter is right below the intake manifold/fuel rail/throttle body etc. Which is on the passanger side of a USDM car or on the driver side of a JDM car. Make sure to disconnect the battery unless you want to to keep on making your wrench spark on every turn.
Behind the oil filter, not below. The guy's already confused about what kind of car he has, don't make it any worse for him.
