Yes. Removing that sheetmetal will make the car flex more, but after the weight reduction is complete we are doing a 8 point cage, tied into the chassie, tower to tower (fr-rr).

Anyways No its not my daily driver.
As for lightening your s14 I dont know much you could do without making it noisy inside.
Here are some.
remove ac. remove bumper reinforcments. Gutt the back half of the car.
Finish scraping the rest of the rubber crap off of the floor.
