Wheels are the most important thing aesthetically on a car, why buy wheels that simulate the 'look' of badass wheels but are obviously fake, sit half a foot inside your fender, don't allow you to run a wide tire, and are not as strong (not that big a deal but true!)?
Save up, there are deals to be had out there...also the number of options for 'cheap' seems to be increasing...
My suggestion, buy used nice wheels...
except the price difference between Walmart jeans and Abercrombie Jeans is about $30 while the difference between Rota's and Spoon/Work/Volk etc... is like $800. Most Rota's are NOT "obviously fake." I've got buddies who rock Slipstreams and buddies who rock Spoon SW's and NOBODY can tell the difference. Also, your arguement about offset/width is the same reason why not that many folks on here run Rota's. Which is why the thread starter here is looking into getting Rota's made in PROPER offset and size.
