Just to let you know that almost all japanese cars have tanabe's or KYB's as stock shocks.  They're not highperformance though.  Thats just who makes them.  Its like spark plugs,  when you go out and buy HKS,Blitz,etc(japanese) spark plugs you're buying denso's or NGK's.  They're the only ones that actually make spark plugs in Japan.
