TONYFG2 Sacramento

UPDATE 3/14/14: Tony has sent me a refund that I felt was fair and covered my losses. He retained the wheels and both parties are now satisfied.

UPDATE: Tony and I are working on a resolution.

Tony has apologized to me. He's going to reimburse me in cash for the loss I took in our deal.

After about 2 weeks Tony and I resolved the conflict. This thread will stay up, but I am changing my signature and any non factual statements on my side.

I'm asking any and everyone that reads this to take no action against Tony. Please do not call his work, do not harass him in person or vandalize his car. He is concerned that someone may take action against him and I am asking you not to.

Original post:
I traded my Work XD9 for his work emotion.

When I asked him why he was getting rid of them he said that he was getting rid of them because they didn't fit his car.

Fair enough.

When we met up to trade he had the wheels in garbage bags and I was at work.

So I didn't have a ton of time to look thoroughly at the wheels. I looked in each bag determined they were in fair enough condition and the cash he added on top ($200) would be sufficient to bring them to decent condition.

We traded and went our separate ways.

When I got home I realized that his reason to get rid of them was NOT because they didn't fit his car.

Tony had taken two of the wheels, which were damaged. Used body filler and plastidip all over the inside of the barrels to cover up extensive (and poorly done) wheel repair.

I know it was tony who did this because he had described how he repaired wheels at home to flip them to make money on the side.

I immediately contacted tony and let him know the condition. He downplayed it and said he didn't know they were in such bad condition.

I figured I would suck it up and get them repaired. But my welder guy would not weld them.

I asked tony to do the right thing and give my wheels back and I would give him the cash he added as well.

After about 2 weeks Tony and I resolved the conflict. This thread will stay up, but I am changing my signature and any non factual statements on my side.
