Question Stance/Wheel Fitment

Looking for some help. I'm running a old set of staggered volk gtu 16x7 16x8 +35 all around on stock fenders. Was looking throught the wheel fitment thread and most are running 17in+ wheeks so i was wondering what would be a good spacer n tire setup that would give my 16in wheels a good/semi decent stance with a slight strech. Coilovers are tein super drift so bringing it down wont be a problem but just looking for a bit of guidance from those who know a bit more than i do. Much apreciated and thanks in advance!

yeah... common sense and a basic comprehension of math and/or basic physics would have worked wonders here. It's not the diameter of the wheel that necessarily puts you at a disadvantage, but the width and offset. a 7" front isn't adequate for a good "stretch" and 8" is only marginally better. For flush you'd need more spacing than it's worth. Just enjoy what you've got until you can get something better I guess and try to keep from starting threads like this when the answer is readily available if you use your head.

195/45s on the 8j with a 35 mm spacer. 185/45s on the 7j with a 60 mm spacer. haha.

just get better fitting wheels. that 7j is just rediculously small.

...and this.

Next time, refer to the wheel fitment thread.

In there, you'll see what fits...and what doesn't fit.
