Aftermarket fuel tank

i just bought an after market fuel tank and i was wondering do you have to seal the fitting with anything like Teflon tape or anything like that. Thanks

unless you're using a tapered fitting, you shouldn't need to use any teflon tape. fuel would just eat right through it anyway...

yea its a fuel cell i keep getting one of the fittings that leaks and I think its coming from the threads, but i cant figure it out. how tight are the fitting supposed to be i don't want to ruin them by over torquing them.
