Driftworks has them, this one japanese company if i recall yanaka or something has them, and there was some australian company.. other than that i dont know anyone else.

Problem is I'm in Canada, Driftworks' price is skyroof like, and the shipping is MORE than the item itself.. frickin going to cost me literallyh a whole paycheque 500+ CDN$... wth?

So help me out

Yes, iirc

they are badass, I would be down for some if they could be had somewhat affordably.

BECAUSE ITS FUCKING BADASS

do you have it?
have u driven a car with them?

if u answer "no" to both these questions:
SHUT THE FUCK UP

I have YANACK ones
steering is SOOOO great and responsive. that with the little metal spacer to replace that rubber bushing, 235 neovas, spl outters

shit is amazing
u can get YANACK suuuper easy too!

www.rhdjapan.com

they are fast on shipping and super reliable. i bought some stuff off them reecently. nice people. they ship EMS. i ordered on sunday, got my stuff by thursday.

DO IT!

iave had yanack for well over a year now. picked them up in Japan.
then found out i could have gotten them just as easily thru RHD. oh well!

make sure u specifiy with RHD which one u want. S13 differs from s14
i use s14 ones on my s14 with a s14 steering rack.

Any installed pics Aaron? Or is it one of those things that is self explanatory if I were to walk out and pop my hood?

Just trying to wrap my head around this. I'm assuming replacing the stockers with metal would clean up any slop and quicken steering response. At the same time, can I assume it transfers more vibration to the steering wheel?

I second all questions asked above. I'm not saying it wont help, i just don't see how it CAN help... Basically there are just rubber bushings in the clamps that hold the rack to the car....Right? Not really sure how replacing these improves anything.... please do explain.

replace rubber bushings w/ solid
works for everything else
subframes, uprights, lcas, etc etc
same thing
ps cant move at all. no flex whatsoever. more respeonsive.

i am sucky at explaing stuff but all the people who have drifted my cars enjoy it.so im not here to convince anyone. i couldnt give a fuck about someone elses car.

take what you must.

Understood. Thanks for the info.

With your experience, I'd imagine you could handle some good write-ups on a number of different parts.

For now Zilvia will just have to get by with the expertise of "Dousan's Reviews".

How do they feel compared to the ES bushings? Since that's what I have in there now.

im running urethane bushings on the entire car

i run a metal bushing for the steering rack w/ manual steering settup.

the bushing, like all bushings, is a pain to install if your motor is installed.

i did it with the motor installed, from the INSIDE of the car by removing the entire interior section of the rack.. since i had no dash it wasnt rediculous, but still troublesome.

it makes a nice improvement, more than what youde think. its not harsh, i daily drive my shit for many years.. no worries.

unlike douSHan, i dont run metal bushings anywhere else on the car because i believe that a good street setup should be compliant. no sense in sliding your shit all over the canyon going nowhere, when you're trying to keepup with cars like evo etc.. i mean, we already have traction issues. but this little piece doesnt effect that.

Just so people dont get confused,

There are the metal steering rack bushings, which attatch the rack to the subframe.

There are metal column bushing which is replaced in the column.

Both will increase steering feel immensely and are not too much for the street at all.

Speak for yourself. I have poly bushings and I'm no fag.

If you're happy with what you got and it was worth it, then why should you say you're a fag because there are people saying it's the next best thing since the invention of the wheel?

well its like anything else
hwo badly do u want something and how much u want to spend

sure u can go the ES route, np. works good does the job
or u could take it a step farther and spend more and never touch ur bushings ther eagain, beause u dont have any.

i like the solid
you might like the poly
my mom might like the solid and my dad the poly
just get what u can afford

if 100 bucks wont hurt your bank, then do it
